appointments update

We've had quite a few appointments this week so time for an update! I had a postpartum check up Friday and all is well with me, though I can't do ab work outs for another TWO months! :( Naysa had a neuro appointment Monday and got her stitches out! Her incision site is healing very nicely and head growth is right on track, no signs of hydrocephalus, yay! Today she had a visit with her new pediatrician at Rady's, Dr. Mortimer and she is wonderful! Naysa did very well, minus the rectal temp..she didn't like that too much! The Dr. said she is healthy and beautiful :) She weighed 8lbs 6oz and is a long 22in! She's in the 75th percentile in length, definitely didn't get that from me :p This little girl has lots of upcoming appointments too, starting the 13th she will go every 2nd and 4th Friday to physical therapy, eye appointment the 11th and a 2month checkup the 19th where she will get her vaccinations (poor baby!) She hasn't had any apnea episodes and the Dr. said as she grows they will slowly reduce her caffeine intake and wean her off. She gets like 2ml per kilo of weight so she'll be about 3-4 months before she's off the caffeine then will continued to be on her monitor to make sure she is okay without it. Everything else is good, she's active, alert and got some strong lungs! haha. She's pretty much perfect :D
