Second Opinion

So Naysa had her second opinion today on her eyesight and I haven't been this anxious in a while. No matter how much I felt like she had some sort of vision, I'm not a doctor so it was nerve racking that someone might tell me different..again. Thankfully that is not the direction the appointment took :)The Dr. said her eyes look good structurally and SHE CAN SEE!!! How much and how well is hard to tell until she is old enough to ask but she was responding to the light and he said he will be shocked if she doesn't gain some better vision after she is shunted. I am so happy and thankful for this good news and hope. She may not see like you and I but I am so relieved to hear she is not blind. My heart would break if she was forever trapped in darkness, unable to see the vibrant lights and colors of the world. Thank you all for your prayers, they really work..there is no other explanation for the miracles we've encountered with this girl. We go to see the neuro on Wednesday so surgery date is soon to come.
