Sorry for the delay in update, things have been crazy! Our express shipment from Japan arrived today with our kitchen and Naysa's room so we've been busy unpacking and getting the house ready for her to come home. Benjamin and Christopher painted her room today too so I'm pretty excited to put the decals on tomorrow :) We had a rough morning when I heard dad being sick in the bathroom around 4am, I asked if he was okay and of course he said yes so I went to wake up my mom. We got Ben up to run to the store and get him some kind of drink with electrolytes thinking he needed fluids but as soon as he got out the door mom decided he needed to go to the ER so we called Ben back and he dropped them at the hospital (thank God it's RIGHT across the street!) When I got up for the day around 7:30 I texted to check in and they were still waiting for tests, including a ct. It's been a long day for him of tests and meds but he is looking better and speaking coherently so please just pray he continues to feel better and it's nothing serious. After we heard he was doing better Ben and I went to visit Naysa :) We got there just in time for a diaper change and feeding so Ben changed her and I breastfed her. She is so good at it! I was reading so much on how to get your baby to latch on good and all kinds of stuff and I don't need any of that, she just does it perfectly! We can go ahead and add that to the list of why she's amazing :) She had a sleep study last night due to her periodic breathing and there was a significant amount of recorded shallow breathes so tomorrow they will decide if they want to start her on caffeine or send her home with monitors. The good news is her heart rate didn't drop during these little episodes, so that's a relief! The conference yesterday went well. We got her EEG results and she's NOT having seizures! Being a cele baby she is at high risk for them but as of now, she is seizure free and all we can do is pray it continues to stay that way. We didn't get new information on anything so not much to report, we just met with the doctor and had a free for all question session. Well, that's about all I can stay awake to write about so I will update more tomorrow.
