Sherry asked if I could update about Japan and I'm sure other of you are curious as well so here we go!
Our base (NAF Atsugi)in Ayase-Shi is about 4 hours south from the epicenter of where the earthquake hit in Sendai. They experienced a 5.0 earthquake that went on for about 7 minutes and over 250 aftershocks, though only a few were actually big enough to feel. All of my friends from both our home base and the bigger Naval base in Yokosuka are all safe (Thank God!) I wrote an e-mail to the people who are keeping Bam to see how he is doing and when I hear back I will be sure to update about him as well, I'm sure he was nice and freaked out. Poor baby. I don't know if our shipment has left Japan but I will be calling tomorrow to see about tracking it. Our express shipment will arrive by plane and I'm thinking that should have already left. The buildings in Japan are very well built and meant to withstand earthquakes so there was minimal damage in the area. I think I covered most of the questions I've been getting but if you have anymore let me know :)
