The past week has been trying for my little cele family. On December 19th the Treliving family laid their miracle baby Kaitlyn to rest. The ceremony was beautiful from the photos I've seen and Michelle, I admire your strength..you are such a wonderful person. A few days ago the prayers focus shifted to our little Jeremiah. He suddenly quit breathing and was without a pulse for over an hour. Scans revealed he suffered significant brain damage as well as his other organs. He is currently still in the hospital and fighting hard. My heart goes out to Sierra, it's so hard to see our little ones hooked up to machines and the wretched spike of adrenaline when the alarms sound..you are constantly on my mind and I hope he comes back to you soon. I called yesterday about Naysa's blood test results on Peho and whatever else she was testing for, one of them was in but the other wasn't and the doctor was on leave until after New Year's so I still have to wait..even though it's there :-/ There is some good news though! Her spasms have been SO much better since taking Topamax twice a day instead of one. She still has them but they are very slight, most of the time it's just her eyes that go to the side. She doesn't seem to be eating as much so hopefully we can get her in next week before New Years Eve. We are still working on sitting up, any progress she had made has been hindered since trying to get these spasms under control. I had my first appointment with the therapist today, it was nice to speak with someone I didn't know..a neutral third party. It was just a preliminary appointment but even he could see how stressed I've been within the first few minutes of talking. You know you need help when you get done telling a shrink all your troubles and he raises his eyebrows, sighs and says "wow.." haha. He wants to see me once a week starting after the holidays.
