We've had a few appointments since the last time I posted and seems like we've been going nonstop until tonight, so sorry for the delay in postings! We went for PT the 19th and ended up not having it. Apparently when there is a surgery a new "prescription" for PT and OT has to be written so I'll be checking on that tomorrow. The 21st she went in for her 4 month shots. I can't believe we are already here! She did soo good! It seems like she gets more upset with the way she is held and restricted than with the actual shot lol. She weighs 13lbs and is 2 feet long! She is finally starting to chunk up a bit :) We split up her shots again so she will get the rest on Thursday. On the 20th we went to a geneticists at Balboa. We did this in Hawaii and they drew some blood but we never got the results since they sent it by mail to Japan. We went through our family histories and told her all about Naysa. She wasn't concerned that this is hereditary so that's always good to hear! She said she didn't feel the need to follow our case because she is doing so wonderfully :) Friday morning we took a break from doctors and appointments and drove up north to be with our extended family. I met Jacky in Japan almost two years ago, we spent almost every day together and she has come to be like my sister but I had never met her family! We've talked through email and skype since day one but we had to remedy the the physical aspect. It was just what we all needed. The mountain fresh air, the clear starry skies, wine & good conversation..I wish we never had to leave! My Auntie Mara who I haven't seen in about 8 years was also able to come visit! She lives about two hours away and came to the house for the day to meet the bug and fall in love :) It was such an amazing 5 days. They've all been following Naysa since she those two lines popped positive on the pee stick so it was nice to see how much they already loved her and how she inspires. Jacky's mom (Nan) started to choke up telling me how proud she was with all that we're doing and how amazing Naysa is :) I can't imagine what life would be like if we had listened to all of those doctors and made the decision to terminate the pregnancy, I don't want to. This little girl has brought so much love to our lives and the lives of people all over the world! We're back home now and it's back to reality tomorrow and an appointment on Thursday for more shots. Then comes August which I'm sure will have endless doctor visits, though I am excited for the 1st when she goes back to the eye doctor!
LOL we were posting blog updates at the same time not literally since we live in different time zones but you know what I mean LOL
