Change of plans official :(
Today's appointment was L O N G! It started with a quick ultrasound to check fluid and placenta, then went to an hour long fetal monitoring session that was only supposed to be 20 mins. Naysa was hyper and was moving too much for a good reading and setting off the "super active" alarms on the machine, haha. Finally she settled down and we were done with that. Then we went to our complicated OB appointment with Dr. Chan where we had another ultrasound to check her measurements and weight (5lb, 6oz). She couldn't get a good measurement on her head to see if it was still behind because of the way she was positioned but she didn't seem too worried and didn't say anything about microcephaly so that's good news! The bad news is we are being transferred to another hospital. Which means new doctors, new specialists, new everything. It's super frustrating when we've already established relationships and trusted our neurosurgeon, but we've been assured we are in good hands (doesn't mean I won't be googling names once we get them!)As of now we will still be seen at Balboa until transfer paperwork is completed and approved, then we will be at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns, then it will be off to Rady Children's for Naysa which is right across from Mary Birch. We have two more appointments this week and one for next so far, though I can't keep track of what they're all for! Nothing new on housing or orders, still plating the waiting game...yay :p
