waiting for the call

We are expecting a call today from the hospital about whether we are going to San Diego, back to Japan or staying here. I'm gonna say if I don't hear from them by 15:00 that I'll call them and check. Though I've learned more patience throughout this journey, it can only go so far..I think I'm being plenty patient for this MRI tomorrow that was supposed to be done last week, one thing at a time! We had a good day yesterday, we had brunch at this gorgeous restaurant in the mountains then drove to Diamondhead (volcano) but the parking was completely full so we couldn't climb up and explore like we wanted to. After that we came back to the hotel for a bit to relax then headed out to dinner at an Italian place called Buca which was actually really cool, minus our weirdo waiter and then saw Harry Potter. Today we plan on going to the Marketplace to shop and walk around, I could use the distraction so I'm not wondering when the call will come in. My parents leave later tonight and I am definitely not looking forward to that but praying it won't be much longer before we see them again.
