Oh herro Honoruru

We made it! After waiting 7 hours in the airport for our flight to leave, we made it to Hawaii. The wait actually wasn't that bad, we found things to entertain ourselves and were only bored maybe an hour of the time. The flight was good minus the fact that high altitudes seem to make the little seed super hyper! Every time I'd get comfortable and close my eyes I was met with 5 little jabs, and I use the word "little" loosely! I thought if Ben put his hand there that the seed would stop since it likes to play that game but nope, it kept up the momentum and Ben's face was priceless! :) So, aside from the 30 mins of "sleep" I got, I was up the 6 hour 50 min flight. We got off the plane (which was double decker, btw..scary!) and went for our luggage which took close to a full 20 mins to show up. I guess since we got there so early that it was just on the bottom of the pile. Then it was time for the rental car. That wasn't as much as a pain as I thought it would be, we asked for a compact car and got a Pontiac G6..bleh. The front seats are low and being the midge that I am, I can barely see over the dashboard! :p We went to the AFB that was nearby and got groceries, it was SO nice to be in a real grocery store. If you don't know what that means, then you haven't been to Atsugi and I suggest you keep it that way! We got to the hotel and unloaded everything, promptly after fell asleep for a 4 hour nap, which was good cause now there is only one hour until we go get my parents! :D I'm trying to keep my mind off of things today and just enjoy the moment, the next two weeks will either be filled with tears or smiles...pray for the smiles.
