Moving to Learn: Anat Baniel Therapy

I have been looking forward to this appointment for over a month now & I am happy to report it was definitely worth the wait! :) We arrived to the office and the therapist, Kristi got to know Naysa a little better with questions for me and observing how she moves, where her muscle strengths are and assessing her personality to see how much she would tolerate. This woman had magic fingers! She felt her ribs and spine, all of her bones and tendons and really just looked like she was giving her a massage! Nay tolerated it SO well! She screams and tenses up in PT and OT the whole appointment so I am so happy she did well with this, even smiling as Kristi worked her body! By the end of the hour our little bug was grabbing her toes and rolling side to side!! I am beyond thrilled and excited for what is to come. We will go again tomorrow as apart of the three day evaluation and I can't wait! Once we got home I layed her on a blanket on the floor to show my mom via skype and Jenn who was sitting on the couch, mouth agape :) She was rolling side to side and almost got to her tummy, even lifting her head! The things this therapy is capable of doing is incredible, and it's not just for children.
