This morning with the neuro went very well :) We saw the nurse practitioner like always and she said her incisions were healing well and her head growth was right on track, following the curve she was before. Naysa has a knot of bone on the back of her head that we asked about and the nurse said it might be due to her skull shifting and adjusting now that there is not so much extra fluid but she wants to keep an eye on it. Her skull is growing and the gaping hole is closing! Hopefully in the next few months it will close more and more so there will be no surgery will be required for a plate. We have a follow up on the 16th with Dr. Levy. This afternoon was a follow up with Dr. O'Halloran for her eyes. He decided not to use drops this appointment because her eyes were responding so well to the light test :) He said she is definitely on the right path and not to worry about her crossing her eyes just yet as she is still adjusting to having vision, we will have a follow up with him in 3 months and will correct any issues then. She may have to wear glasses which is by far the least of my worries, besides...baby glasses are silly :) She is going on week two of no caffeine and so far no heart rate or breathing episodes (knock on wood). Her neck strength is increasing each day and I am hoping by this month she will have control no problem and we can get her a jumper! She loves to stand up and she even "walked" with her daddy today :) We started rice cereal tonight, first with the spoon which she was pretty confused by so I put it in a bottle and that girl chugged! Looks like this will be a new staple in our pantry.
