two weeks old!

Yesterday was Naysa's two week birthday :) I am so happy and blessed with how well she is doing and I pray pray pray she continues to thrive. The caffeine has helped a lot with her apnea, the monitor hasn't gone off once since the first night! :) Well, aside from the leads getting pulled on or sliding around her belly and the monitor going off if it can't get a good signal. I apparently have some kind of infection in my breast so I'm on antibiotics and using all the frozen breast milk I had stored since I have to "pump and dump." I never knew boobs could hurt SO bad and I'm pretty sure these meds are making me sick :-/ Other than that, all is going well. She is eating good and her head circumference is the same since we left the hospital which means no excess fluid is building up and causing hydrocephalus which would require yet another surgery and shunt, so that's very good news! She has an eye exam Friday and a check up with the neuro on Monday to see if stitches can come out. I'll update after both appointments :) Thank you for continued prayers!
