the waiting game
Today was a better day, though nothing's changed we had a better doctor and a genetic counseling appt that went well. The doctor we saw today was a pediatric neurosurgeon and a lot more sensitive to our situation than the jerk yesterday. He said no one can say what the future will hold and until we see the MRI results and get more extensive testing done, there is still hope. After that we had a genetic counseling appt to sort out our family tree of medical history and got some blood work going to see if future pregnancies hold any risks. Everyone at the hospital has been great, aside from the little glitch in the system we encountered. We have a fetal MRI scheduled for Tuesday, praying for good results on that! As of now we are just playing the waiting game. Waiting for tests, waiting for appts, waiting for results and waiting to see how far this little girl can go and what can be done to help her if she makes it to birth. Other than that, not much has changed, she's still as active as ever and loved more than she knows. Thank you for all the support
